Santo Antonio Sugarcane Mill now counts on a new room for meals
In a simple and relaxed ceremony, on September 8th the Ernesto Gomes Maranhão cafeteria was inaugurated. The Santo Antonio Mill Board of Directors and employees from various sectors of the company were present at the event. Everyone had the opportunity to see how the renovation of the building, which used to house the old archive, looks today very different from its former apparence.
At the inaugural lunch at noon, the directors of the group along with the diners who usually eat at the company, could taste the new menu offered by Chef Paulo and his team. In the afternoon, at 3:00 pm, a coffee break was offered as a form of integration among all sectors and employees, who in one way or another will contribute to the completion of the work. Mr. Carlos Ernesto Maranhão, representative of the board of directors, spoke about the importance of the action and how that environment will have relevance in the worker’s well-being. Next, the Director Mrs. Cristina Maranhão, took the floor and made a point of emphasizing that all the investment has as its objective the good health of all those who eat and of those who in the future will also be part of the table of diners in that environment.
The guests were also very pleased with the final result of the work and commented among themselves about the new building. “It looks really nice” said Adriano, an employee who installed one of the railings in the service area. Mr. Celio, who works in garden maintenance, said he was happy to see the company investing in something so useful and beautiful. Finally, it was clear that everyone embraced this new investment and above all, the result seen, which was the strengthening of the integration that the Santo Antonio Group provided to all employees.
